Heroic Youth Programs and Structure
For children ages 8-12 we offer Mastering Knighthood and Crowned with Virtue clubs and our Summit event. Clubs are held at the community level by parents and mentors. They can be held weekly or bi-weekly and usually run throughout the school year. Knights (8-12 year old boys) and handmaidens (8-12 year old girls) have the opportunity to attend our two day Summit event at the end of the summer.
For youth, ages 13-19 we offer mentoring and training through our Youth Leadership program. Youth can apply to be leaders with Heroic Youth each year during the winter. Those selected will then participate in learning about virtue, courage, self-mastery, and servant leadership through noble house meetings, Everyday Warrior Journey, group trainings, team building, and simulations. They will then get to participate in Hero Quest, our simulation created just for the youth, and they will be the primary leaders of the young knights and handmaidens who will attend Summit. They wrap up the year with an awards ceremony and a Royal Ball. It is a summer of immeasurable growth and fun!

The Royal Structure
Within our youth programs we are divided into two “nations” - Terra Libre, which means Land of Liberty, for the boys, and Christathel, which means Beautiful Followers of Christ, for the girls. Each of these nations has a King and Queen who are the primary mentors and trainers for these two groups. Both Terra Libre and Christathel have a group of select youth leaders who will train and lead the rest of the youth. They are directed by the Royal Master Knight and the Crown Princess.
The youth are divided into ten Noble Houses, each with its own color and mascots. Within these Noble Houses there are specific roles.

Volunteers
Youth are supported in their leadership responsibilities by adult mentors and volunteers. In addition to directly working with the youth, we are dependent upon volunteers for logistics, costumes, check-in, villain army, cast, and other roles.
